This week, I'm pairing one of my favorite books with a gorgeous piece (that is also the audition excerpt that haunts my nightmares!).

A Court of Thorns and Roses and Mendelssohn's Scherzo from A Midsummer Night's Dream

I'm picking this partly because of the Fey association, but also because the haunting undertones of this piece underneath a playful exterior remind me of the Court of Prythian, specifically the Spring Court.
