From Goodreads: Feyre, Rhys, and their close-knit circle of friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly-changed world beyond. But Winter Solstice is finally near, and with it, a hard-earned reprieve. Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, she finds that those dearest to her have more wounds than she anticipated--scars that will have far-reaching impact on the future of their Court.
So, this was such a fun read! It wasn't entirely what I was expecting it to be going in, but I was so pleasantly surprised by it! It's far more a novella than a novel in the series, but it does bridge the gap between the two ACOTAR series!
This story centered around Rhysand and Feyre's celebration of the winter solstice, and the aftermath of what had happened in the book before. It was fluffier and lighter than any of the books in the trilogy, but honestly that was so fun to just observe these characters when they aren't in peril! I really enjoyed this read and it only took two short sittings to get through it. From the sneak peek at the end of the book, I'm speculating that the next series about this world will focus more on Nesta and Elain and the aftermath of what happened with them in ACOWAR. I can't wait for more books in this world and hopefully more fun side adventures like this one!
